The future of John Deere service is looking bright.

As our partnership with NDSCS and LATC continues to grow, we continue to reap what we sow with our Tech Knowledge education program. Over 25 graduates of the class of 2025 are now employed by our dealerships. With the success of the program, our dealerships have gone all in on recruiting including exciting ‘signing’ days.

Program Overview

  • The TechKnowledge Program is a two-year, dealer-sponsored student technician training program offered in partnership between Brandt Holdings and Lake Area Technical College (LATC).
  • Sponsor dealers associated with Brandt Holdings include Kibble Equipment, Platte Valley Equipment, and Valley Plains Equipment.
  • The program leads to an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Diesel Technology (with a John Deere option) at LATC.
  • The North Dakota State School of Science offers an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in “John Deere Tech,” which is sponsored by John Deere, with dealership internships
